• China's population is 1,384,688,986.

         I found this fact interesting because it is such a bigger number compared to The United States population. This relates to what we are talking about because with such a big population, their population pyramid will vary.

• 42.45% of Nigeria's population is under 14.

         I find it interesting that just under half of the population is younger than 15. This relates to what we are learning because I think with a stat like that, then the population pyramid will be very wide at the bottom and continue to get skinnier. 

• 33.15% of Monaco's population is 65 and older.

         I find it interesting why the population there is majority older than some of the surrounding countries. This relates to what we are learning because their population pyramid will be more narrow at the bottom and start to expand towards the top.

• Afghanistan's life expectancy is 52.10.

         I find it interesting because I have many loved ones who are over that age and if they were in Afghanistan, they would not be around still. This relates to what we are talking about because this means that Afghanistan's population pyramid would not go rise that high.

• South Sudan's death rate is 19.30.

         I find this interesting because it is the number one highest death rate in the world and I can't imagine how bad things would have to be for it to be that high. This relates to what we are learning because with such a big death rate, their population is decreasing. 

  Niger- I think their population is rising because there is an overwhelming amount in the younger categories of age. This means that plenty of people are being born there which raises their population. 

Check- The population is rising.

China- The population pyramid is most wide in the middle, this means that less children are being born then in past decades to where there is more middle aged people than children. I think the population is decreasing.

Check- Population decreasing.

Haiti-  The population pyramid starts wide and gradually gets skinnier going up in age. I think the population is rising.

Check-  Population rising.

The United States- The population pyramid is consistent going up and gets thinner in the older ages. The widest part is 25-29, I think the population is gradually rising

Check- Population is rising.

Chad- The population pyramid is wide at the bottom and gets significantly smaller as it goes up. I think the population is rising.
