Write brief biographies of the following three people: Phillip II, Alexander the Great, and Darius III

Phillip II - King of Spain, Portual. King Phillip II or also known as Phillip the prudent. He began his reign of Spain in the Golden age. For a short amount of time he became King of England from his marriage with Mary Tudor. He was also known for defending Catholicism from the Ottoman Empire and the forces of Protestent reformation.

Alexander the Great-  The son of King Phillip II of Macedon, Alexander became king when his father died. Once he took over power he went on to rule and conquer most of the world in that time. Although he was King for less than 13 years he managed to change history and become one of if not the best military General in history 

Darius III-  Named Artashata and called Codomannus by the greeks, He was the last King of the Achaemenid Empire of Persia. Was eventually conquered by Alexander the Great in their encounters. Once Alexander took control of the Persian Empire, he shortly went after Darius but before he could kill him, he was killed by his own cousin.

  1. You got the wrong Phillip II. Yours lived almost 2000 years after Alexander. Phillip II, king of Macedonia, was Alexander the Great's father.
