The Greeks technology and way of government heavily shaped the world that we live in today
Aristocrats controlled Athens, a city state of Greece 
The life expectancy from birth was 15 years old
Spartans were very skillful and warlike people 
They had the best chance of becoming an empire out of all the city states in Greece
The olympic was first created over 2 centuries before cleisthenes was even born
the olympics used to be just between wealthy people but it slowly evolved into that anyone can enter and prove themselves
